Skin Laundry at Nordstrom Oak Brook
California’s cult-fave skincare line has opened its second Chicago-area spa-within-a-store at Oakbrook Center. Shop the array of hydrating and renewing products from the brand, but don’t leave without trying its signature service, the 15-Minute Laser & Light Facial. It’s so quick, you can get it on your lunch break; it involves YAG laser and IPL (intense pulsed light) that refresh and even out your complexion. If you have a little more time, try the carbon peel, a 30-minute treatment incorporating an application of Skin Laundry’s unique carbon oil to deliver deep-down cleaning and exfoliation.
Date: Now open and ongoing

Studio Three Turns 3!
The fitness studio is all about the power of three (interval training, cycling, yoga), so it makes perfect sense that they’ll go all out for this particular birthday. The event lets you get a taste of all three formats with 30-minute workouts in each studio. Go ahead and choose your own adventure: Start in the basement for all those burpees and jumps, or head upstairs for an energizing flow. Healthy treats will be on hand.
